Timothy Howard, M.D. is board certified in Family Practice. He completed his residency at the at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. He currently has a private practice in Huntsville, Alabama. He is an Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Alabama's School of Primary Medical Care and a medical staff member at Huntsville Hospital and Crestwood Hospital.

Since 1997, he has lead  numerous trials associated with internal medicine including trials on coronary artery disease, hypercholesterolemia, hypertension, type II diabetes, obesity, gastroesophageal reflux disease, irritable bowel syndrome, herpes labialis lesions, herpes zoster, influenza, migraines, insomnia, chronic bronchitis, sinusitis infections, osteoarthritis, and healthy research studies.
