James G. McMurry, MD is an AUA Board certified Urologist whose research and clinical practice is devoted to the urological field of sexual dysfunction, prostate cancer, urinary incontinence, urinary tract infections, kidney stones, prostatitis, and benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH).
Dr. McMurry attended medical school and completed a surgical residency in Urology at the University of Mississippi. Dr. McMurray has been an Associate Professor at the University of Alabama Medical School since 1982. Dr. McMurray is currently the Medical Director at Medical Affiliated Research Center, Inc. and Principal Investigator of Urology. Dr. McMurray has lead numerous trials associated with urology including but not limited to trials on erectile dysfunction, enlarged prostate (BPH), prostatitis, urinary tract infections, and overactive bladder.
